Children are Children, aren’t they? #IndiawithPakistan

If I had been at school today, I would have lowered our flag to half mast in grieving the loss of children. The last line of this blog sums it up pretty well:
“Children are children, whether they’re born in India, Pakistan or anywhere else in the world.” Thank you for your post.

“Each man ( and mermaid) will be like a shelter from the wind and a refuge from the storm, like streams of water in the desert and the shadow of a great rock in a thirsty land”. Isa 32:2 NIV Warning: The author of this blog is not an ordinary individual. Even Mermaids need a rest from all that's real and grown up. Welcome to the wonder of blog. Come be audience to all that's wet and wild in her stories, poems and thoughts. Instructor by day, super hero by night, and mystical mermaid by summer. Whenever she has the fortune of diving into a pond, reservoir, or mountain waterfall, you'll find her there swimming, and singing songs of life.

Thanks for posting this. As I comment on Daily (w)rite, all children belong to all of us. You’re one of my children, too–well, you were, even though I thought we were about the same age–and I’ve not been as attentive as I should have been. I hope you’re okay. I’m glad you’re still writing (although I didn’t think you were going to stop).

  2. Hello, Kathy. You are welcome. So good to have you stop by. I enjoy your writing. I would like to believe we are ageless women, and I am honored to call you friend. You will always be my favorite teacher! The reunion was wonderful! I will have to visit Texas again….for no apparent reason. I hear Kirk’s building a house…..and there is this “to die for” lemon meringue pie I’d like to try at Naegelin’s Bakery in New Braunfels. It was my father’s favorite. I could do a coffee shop circuit and spend a day at each place writing! So much I want to do when I’m not teaching and dreaming! Like traveling and WRITING! 🙂 Merry Chritsmas to you and yours! Happy 2015!
