Today in church, our pastor continued his series on the fruits of the spirit with the focus today being on kindness. He opened it up talking about what it means to be human, and specifically what is means being human in today’s world. As human beings, we crave connectedness. We crave physical touch, emotional vulnerability, and sometimes we simply crave eye contact. Yet, we live in a world that is utterly disconnected. We can send a text to a loved one and call it good, but we fail to recognize the need the other person has for more.
