Beyond The Veil

(Dedicated to the late Diana Jergensen)  You were the truest of angel friends bringing me to Christ again.  Mistook you for a goddess in our small Muses Forum.  Miss you.  -Heidi  6/4/1999

Diana fair

You chase the day

Abscond the night

Til every unseen dream takes flight

Amid the verse of Dorthy Parker

I muse to find a fitting marker

Prayer circling Algonquin rounds

Where remedies could not be found,

But you weren’t much a drinker, more the thinker.

For one so brave and valiant

I fear we will not find an answer here

So worthy of your genial view

Discerning gaze

Gracious review.

Abide with me a little space

That I might see your angel face

Again

I fear I can not take another rerun

I want the real you

nymphish grin.

Undo this nightmare

Release me from this weak, less godly race.

Oh Princess Warrior, where go you now?

Beyond the grave?

What do you know that we can’t see or hear?

I feel you near and resonating mystically

Beyond the pain

Across the veil

Inspire me.

About hrobertson2013

“Each man ( and mermaid) will be like a shelter from the wind and a refuge from the storm, like streams of water in the desert and the shadow of a great rock in a thirsty land”. Isa 32:2 NIV Warning: The author of this blog is not an ordinary individual. Even Mermaids need a rest from all that's real and grown up. Welcome to the wonder of blog. Come be audience to all that's wet and wild in her stories, poems and thoughts. Instructor by day, super hero by night, and mystical mermaid by summer. Whenever she has the fortune of diving into a pond, reservoir, or mountain waterfall, you'll find her there swimming, and singing songs of life.
